Thomas Drye

Thomas Harold Drye, age 87 of Paris, TN passed away March 29, 2015. Mr. Drye was born April 4, 1927 in Nashville, TN to George Washington and Cora Davis Tarwater Drye.He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, an Army Veteran during the Korean War and an avid University of Tennessee Football Fan.He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Bettye Zeller Drye. Mr. Drye is survived by his special companion, Margaret Weaks; children, David (Janey) Drye, George (Joy) Drye, Terry (Tom) Turbyfield and Jerry (Jennifer) Drye; Margaret's children, Glenn and Lynn (Dana) Weaks; grandchildren, Meagan Wolfe, Zachary Drye, Alayna Turbyfield, Chris Baker and Stephanie Ervin; great-grandchild, Elaina Ervin; and several nieces and nephews.A celebration of Mr. Drye's life will be held from 4 P.M. until 7 P.M, Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Paris.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations should be made to the charity of the donor's choice.Guestbook online at NashvilleCremationCenter.com, (615) 678-4832.
